Scouting in Denmark started in 1909 and they were one of the founding members of WOSM. The countries 2 scouting organisations joined together in 1962 to form Fællesrådet for Danmarks Drengespejdere which curently has 40,813 members!

The Head of Contingent is Katja Lund-Rasmussen.
