Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting started in Lebanon in 1937 with the establishment of the Association des Guides du Liban. Lebanon is a country in Western Asia. The country’s location at the crossroads of the Mediterranean Basin and the Arabian hinterland facilitated its rich history and shaped a cultural identity of religious and ethnic diversity.
