Slovenský Skauting (SLSK) – Scouting Slovakia is the primary national Scouting and Guiding organisation of Slovakia and was founded in 1993. It currently has around 7000 members; with 3,157 Scouts and about 3,000 Guides.

The Head of Contingent is Peter Tomečko.

Slovakia is a landlocked country in Central Europe whose territory spans about 49,000 square kilometres and is mostly mountainous. With 9 national parks, 14 protected landscape areas, over 6000 cave systems, and more than 1,400 mineral springs, Slovakia has remarkably diverse nature. Slovakia is also home to most castles and chateaux per capita; with 180 castles and 480 chateaux!
