Personal Data Protection Information

Protection of personal data of everyone involved in the European Jamboree 2020 is one of the key goals of the Jamboree organising team.

Controller of your personal data is: Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego – the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association with its registered seat in Warsaw, Marii Konopnickiej 6, 00-491 Warsaw.

Data Protection Officer: The Polish Scouting Association makes every effort to ensure that personal data is processed in a manner that ensures compliance with law and security. ZWIĄZEK HARCERSTWA POLSKIEGO, THE JAMBOREE ORGANISATION USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA, IN THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES:

We will use the personal data of participants provided in the registration form and data collected during the Jamboree and in connection with its course.

We will use this personal data to: provide your participation in the Jamboree, to qualify you for the event, confirm your attendance, enable and service the event fee, and organize the event. The legal basis for using your personal data for this purpose is your consent (Article 6 (1a) of the GDPR). Your data will be stored for a period of 5 years from the beginning of the year following from the end of the calendar year in which the event was organized.

In addition, we use the participant’s personal data to consider a complaint, defend against claims for damages against the person or property of the participant connected to the event. The legal basis for processing the personal data in this purpose is the legitimate interest of ZHP (Article 6 (1f) of the GDPR), consisting in ensuring the safety of persons and property protection during the event and the defence against claims for damages. This data will be stored for 3 months since the date of the end of the event.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

We will disclose your personal data with the entitles cooperating with the Jamboree Organisation (ZHP) in organising the European Jamboree 2020 under data entrustment agreements, including Marcato Digital Solutions Inc., which handles registrations for the event. The data will also be made available to offices providing accounting services to ZHP, as well as to public authorities authorised to obtain such data in connection with the proceedings.

RIGHTS OF A DATA SUBJECT

Due to the fact, that ZHP process your personal data, you have the right to:

  • obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether or not your personal data is being processed, and, where that is the case, get access to your personal data and the relevant information related to the processing of your personal data (on the basis of Article 15 of GDPR);
  • demand rectification of your personal data when it is inaccurate, incomplete or outdated;
  • demand deletion of all or some of your personal data if: you have objected to the processing on the grounds of legitimate interests pursued by the controller, or your personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or have been unlawfully processed;
  • demand restriction of processing your personal data (pursuant to Article 18 of GDPR) for the time necessary to decide on the legitimacy of your request to delete or certificate your personal data or for the time necessary for establishment, exercise or defence of your legal claims;
  • object to processing of personal data on the basis of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller (Article 21 of GDPR); in such a case, ZHP shall stop processing of your personal data in this purpose, and, if there is no other legal basis for the use of this data, we will remove it.

You have also the right to withdraw your consent given to ZHP to process your personal data, at any time. In order to do so, you shall contact ZHP or our Data Protection Officer. The withdrawal of your consent does not entail any negative consequences, in particular, it cannot constitute a reason justifying refusal to conclude an agreement. You have also right to submit a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw. The complaint may be completed electronically, in writing or orally to the protocol in the Personal Data Protection Office seat.
