The Head of Transport Operations will plan the participants journeys to the European Jamboree. They will also plan and implement the transport required to ensure all participants can enjoy all parts of the Jamboree adventure.

This role will involve

• Creating a schedule of arrivals and departures of participants in cooperation with Heads of Contingents

• Schedule, management and monitoring of a complex bus operation that involves a large number of daily bus movements (requires on-site cooperation with bus management companies)

• Traffic management in and around the site in cooperation with polish state services and Safety Department

• Work with other Jamboree Planning Team members to fulfil their requirements

• Report your work to Operational Area coordinator

• Attendance at at least one meeting per quarter JPT/Team

• Occasional travel to and within Pomorskie Region and Warsaw (and possible other travel commitments outside Poland)

• Physical appearance and service during the European Jamboree in Gdańsk, 23th July to 8th August 2020

Your Profile

• Excellent administration skills

• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

• Teamwork and Team management skills

• Ability to work independently • Computer skills (Office365, Excel, printer)

• Fluent in English (at least B2 level)

• Ability to take initiative and propose solutions

• Additional advantageous skills include: experience in scheduling, fleet management, supervision of bus transport operations

• Over 18 years old
